on Friday, February 21st, 2020, a month before quarantine really hit and we all got trapped inside due to COVID-19, we played a show at the Black Lodge in Seattle, Washington. The next nite we played in a basement formally titled House SLARP in Portland, Oregon, I, Desi, accidentally broke my favorite guitar, Nate Kahn broke his leg the next day when we were riding motor scooters around, thus leaving us to spend the day in the hospital and support him emotionally and physically through the relentless shock of a life altering event such as that. We began our 4-hour drive home later in the afternoon. Besides all the "breaking", it was the first time we played consecutive shows together and we thought it would be cool to book our first tour at the end of the Summer in 2020, but these times are very uncertain and that seems like a dream now.
